Dear Students and Families,
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! It's a new era at SBHS. For the first time in 29 years, school begins without the legendary Principal Patrick Burke, who retired in June. We're sending him our best wishes, and we're hopeful that he is enjoying every moment of these back-to-school days in late August. If you have had the privilege of meeting Mr. Burke, you know that he's leaving big shoes to fill. Rest assured, he's mentored very capable leaders. Assistant Principals John Craig and Meg Hughart remain on the team, and I'm returning to SBHS as this year's PrinciPAL. I'm confident the team will carry forward the path set by Mr. Burke, and we're excited to lead the team in the 2026-2027 school year.

It's a big school, and I'll do my best to highlight what you need to know from one publication to the next. Please also check our new school webpage and social media often for updates.
