CSB Cup: Salute to Service Charity Hockey Game – Feb. 14
South Burlington High School will host a special CSB Cup: Salute to Service hockey game on February 14, 2026, at 5:40 p.m. at Cairns Arena, honoring Lt. Col. Patrick Daly (SBHS Class of 2002).
This annual SBHS vs. CVU BOYS HOCKEY rivalry game will celebrate Patrick’s legacy as a student-athlete, U.S. Marine Corps fighter pilot, and dedicated community member. Pat passed away while training for a half-marathon in August. A brief pregame ceremony will include the national anthem, a moment of silence, and a ceremonial puck drop with the Daly family. CSB Youth players will participate in pregame activities and a between-period mini-game.
The event will raise funds for The Wingman Foundation, the beneficiary designated by Patrick’s family. Donations will be accepted online and via QR codes at the game. Each team will also present a Pat Daly Memorial Player of the Game Award.
Students, families, alumni, and community members are encouraged to attend and help honor Patrick and all who have served.
