Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:

We are preparing for Fall Conferences in the hope that all of our parents/caregivers and students will have an opportunity to meet with teachers to discuss and plan for success. Please be aware that students are welcome and encouraged to join parents/caregivers for conferences. We hope everyone will take advantage of our invitation to come to school to meet with us.

Individual conferences are being arranged at the following times:

Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 11:30-7:00 PM

Friday, October 24, 2025 from 8:00 AM-3:30 PM

Ten-minute conferences will be scheduled during these times. With over 800 families at SBHS, we are using an online appointment system. See below for customized instructions on how to use the system. The online appointment system will be activated beginning at 9AM on October 13 through October 20; however, the appointments will be filled on a first come first served basis. If the conference times listed above are not convenient for you, please feel free to contact a teacher directly for a specific time or appointment on another day.

By using the online system, confirmation of your schedule will be emailed to you immediately and may be adjusted online up until 9AM on October 20. If you wish to change or cancel your scheduled appointment(s) after the closing of the online system you will have to cancel the appointment(s) directly with the teacher by e-mail. Email addresses are available through PowerSchool. PLEASE PRINT YOUR SCHEDULE AT THE TIME YOU BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENTS FOR YOUR REFERENCE.

Listed below are customized instructions for how to use the system. First go to https://pickatime.com/client?ven=11600208&event=399705

REGISTER

1. Enter your email address and a personal password. (Please make note of your personal password in case you need to sign on again with changes or to reprint your schedule.)

2. Push "Login/Create Account" to begin.

3. To continue account creation, fill in the required fields and click OK to register.

4. Click on "Add Student".

5. For each of your children, enter their school student ID number in the student’s ID field (your student’s ID number can be found in the Power School Parent Portal on the top left of screen under the student’s name while you are signed into Power School Parent Portal) and their six-digit birth date (mm/dd/yy) in the security value field, then push "Add".

6. Once all your children are listed at the top push "Done".

SCHEDULING

1. Each colored square represents a teacher's available meeting time. The legend shows you which teacher corresponds to which color. (Note: You will not see all of the teachers, just those teachers that your children have classes with during the 2nd quarter of semester 1.) Click on a square to book that time.

2. After you set when you want the reminder email to be delivered, click "Create Appointment".

3. Repeat until you have a time with each teacher you'd like to visit with (see note at bottom).

At any time, you may click on "print schedule" and print the resulting web page to get a hard copy of your schedule. If you want to view or make changes to your schedule, you can log in at any time with your email and password. You do not need to "Add Student" after your children are shown.

To cancel or change your appointments click on "your schedule" located at the top to the left of your name to expand the listing of appointments you've already created. From there you may cancel or change the appointment.
