Getting to the know the group - Who are we in this community?

Class of 2027! You made it through your first quarter of high school! Hopefully the transition was smooth and you have been able to identify the many resources available to you at SBHS. Be it your School Counselor, SLAM advisor, SLAM leaders, the Learning Center, Ms. Weaver, or a Coach/Club Advisor, we are all here to continue to welcome you into the high school community.

Increased independence and freedom is an exciting shift for most high school students. Along with this shift comes increased expectations and responsibilities. Balancing school work, your social life, extracurricular activities and family commitments can feel overwhelming at times. Know that this is a very common, and “normal” part of adolescence. Again, use the resources available to you to help develop solid time management skills to map out those busy weeks ahead!
