Course Description:  World History

Course #241:  1/2 credit  per semester      Grade 9 Requirement

All ninth grade students are required to take and pass this course.  World History is a survey course  that deals with six major units.  Each unit deals with both Eastern and Western civilizations from prehistory to present day.  The following units are studied: Early Civilization, Classical Civilization, Medieval World, transition to Modern Times, Contemporary World, Early Americas.
