 This site from the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology contains topics, such as daily life, the economy, religion and death. It includes information on warfare and weapons, the Greek house and furnishings, and coinage and trade among others; these topics are illustrated with artifacts from the Museum's collections.

Perseus Digital Library
This scholarly site provides the text of ancient works for use in research. Of interest to students, are the two exhibits at the bottom of the homepage: "The Ancient Olympics" and "Hercules: Greece's Greatest Hero." These contain much useful information with links to ancient authors and illustrated with artifacts from antiquity.
