PERSONAL COUNSELING:  Short term individual and group counseling for students, parents, and faculty providing support, clarification, and intervention in dealing with both school and non-school related issues.

CONSULTATION:  Working with students, faculty members, parents, and referral agencies, both individually and in groups, to create environments in which people can function together effectively, and in which individuals can fulfill their personal and academic potential.

ACADEMIC PLANNING:  Working with students and families, both individually and in groups, to make curricular choices which will lead to the fulfillment of individual goals based on student’s achievement, aptitude and interest.  Procuring and maintaining accurate data on each student’s academic profile.

COLLEGE PLANNING:  Disseminating and coordinating current information on college admissions for students and their families, aiding in the selection of appropriate colleges, and providing accurate and concise data and narrative information with which to support student applications.

CAREER AWARENESS:  Providing resources and opportunities for students to explore careers in relationship to their emerging value systems, aptitudes and interest.

PREVENTIVE EDUCATION:  Meeting with groups of students in classrooms and small group settings to facilitate discussion of a variety of topics relating to personal, social and psychological development.
