Welcome
Each year, a group of 12 South Burlington High School
students,
along with two chaperones, travel to the Dominican Republic as
part of the
DREAM Project (Dominican Republic Education and
Mentoring).
For the past three years, South Burlington High School has sent students
to the Dominican Republic to partake in community service work.
Projects have included hand-clearing/tilling a half-acre of land
for an organic garden and building a
new house for community members whose home was destroyed by a hurricane.
The living situations are simple and basic, the work is hard, but the rewards are forever.
