032: 45 hours of service equals .25 credit
How
many times have you thought about your future career
and changed your mind? The Internship program allows
you to dip into an area of interest without making
a huge commitment.
You
can work in such areas as:
• Art, Music, Education, Physical Education,
Recreation, Athletic Training, Library Science,
Mathematics, Language Arts (in the school district)
• Health careers (at FAHC during the summer break)
• Science (at the ECHO-LEAHY Center)
• Administration, Recreation or Athletics (at
Boys’/Girls’ Club, YMCA, S. B. Recreation
Department, or Special Olympics)
• Non-profit organizations (at hundreds of
location throughout Chittenden County, such as
Champlain Valley Agency on Aging, Outreach for Earth
Stewardship, Special
Olympics, and Make-A-Wish).
